In life we are only allowed so many moments where we are truly surprised. The birth of your child is one of them. Why not document this moment that will NEVER happen again? One of the most stressful things when delivering is “did anyone take pictures?” Try not to worry, I have that covered! You will get to see your birth from a different light and realize just how magical and beautiful the moment truly is. Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones and your labor happens so quickly that the day is just one big blur, but that’s the beauty about having me there because each time my shutter closes that moment is yours forever… There are some details that you won’t notice in the moment; the way the needle jumps through a contraction, how the baby’s clothes are laid out and waiting to be worn, dad holding your hand throughout, or the look on your face the moment your eyes connect with your baby for the first time. Those are just some of the reasons to have a birth photographer.

I hope to recreate your story of how your little one entered the world. The moment you are checking in, the contractions, the hugs and smiles, every push and pain, the family that was there holding mommas hand and waiting patiently for baby’s big arrival into the world; I want to capture your soul giving life.

Not only am I there as a photographer but also a great support system. I leave my birth sessions feeling as if I have made a lifelong friend, and even new family member. There is a bond created with being there that is just as important and meaningful to me as the actual birth. Between the chatting between contractions, the laughing to ease your mind, or maybe buttering your toast because dad had to pee: all of these things are included. I hope to cheer you on as you push or feel defeated. By the end of this, I will have become part of your day and I hope to have created something for you that you and your children will be able to enjoy together just as you remembered.

I offer many different packages and can personalize any of those packages to fit your specific birth plan, if needed. Everything can be customized to your wants and needs. Each package offers something different or something more, if you would like. A deposit for these sessions is required, and I will be “on call” two weeks prior and one week after your due date; day or night, if you are in labor, I am there with you!

I will only be scheduling one birth per month, ensuring that I am all yours on your day. Birth sessions are a first come, first served basis. I will only book birth sessions that are within 30 minutes of my home to ensure that am able to make it on time. Planned inductions are the exception to this rule.

PLEASE NOTE:

YOU MUST CHECK WITH HEALTHCARE PROVIDER TO MAKE SURE BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY IS PERMITTED PRIOR TO BOOKING.

Please schedule during your second trimester to ensure my availability, and inquire with me to see if availability for the surrounding weeks of your due date.

A deposit is required, as well as a signed contract. I will also send a questionnaire to help me better understand exactly what you are looking for with the arrival of your baby. The remaining balance must be paid by 34 weeks as well as a face-to-face to go over your birth plan and answer any questions you may have.

24/7 “on call” starts when you are at 39 weeks and continues through 41 weeks.  You will receive my personal cell phone number and can contact me at any time, day or night, via text or phone. After your birth, you can look for a sneak peek within the first few days. Your images will be delivered digitally within 4-6 weeks of your birth.

Be sure to contact me with any questions that you may have!
