Pregnancy can be the most beautiful time in a woman’s life. You are creating life, why not document this special moment? Please don’t be scared to take maternity pictures, you have nothing to be nervous about! These are photographs that you, your children, and family will treasure forever. My goal is to make sure that you look and feel stunning, from beginning to end.
But what about when baby FINALLY gets here? I recommend scheduling newborn sessions within your little ones first two weeks. It is important to capture the newborn essence that fades all too quickly. So the sooner, the better! We will work together to schedule the perfect session for your new bundle of joy, and I will accommodate you to the best of my abilities.
I have a variety of different options when shooting a newborn.
NEWBORN FRESH 48— A “fresh 48” session is exactly that, a session within the first two days of life. I will pack my bags and come to you, whether you gave birth at home or the hospital. In the hospital setting, I will capture all the details of your baby’s big arrival; from the sign outside your door, dad’s nerves as he fumbles to hold the tiny baby, or mom snuggling her new bundle of joy. This is more of a natural setting style shoot, so props will be minimal or non-existent. Documenting this moment is something you will not regret, for these moments don’t last long…
LIFESTYLE— You welcome me and my equipment into your home where I photograph your life as a new family. I will capture you and your family interacting with your new baby, from feedings to lullabies. I will photograph baby in their crib, on the changing table, their nursery décor, and much more. If you have other children, we will surely get them in on the magic, as they gaze inside the crib or hold baby’s hand. I can bring a few props, if you would like. Creating these photographs of your new addition’s life at home is something that you can cherish for years to come.
How can you save some time and money? Let’s schedule milestone pictures! Milestone photographs are images collected at 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 1-year sessions. Watch your baby grow over time through the lens. These sessions can be booked in advanced or as we go and we can make a great package deal! Don’t be afraid to ask me create a package that is tailored to your family’s needs.
